About Sels - The School
Sels College has taught English in small groups of 5 to 9 and on a one-to-one basis since 1975. Situated in the heart of London, near the Royal Opera House, it is accredited by the British Council and enjoys an international reputation for the excellence of its courses and friendliness.
Both modern and traditional methods are used to teach well-motivated students for maximum success with English. Sels College "is a school with a heart," said phonetician Professor A.C.Gimson of London University.
It is probably the only school that charges non-executive fees for teaching English in small groups of 5 to 9, with an average of 6. It is a personal and caring school, where every student gets individual attention.
The students are taught in a friendly atmosphere. A large number of the students come from word-of-mouth recommendation.
There is strong interaction between teachers and students resulting in a lot of Speaking and Listening. The teachers are professional in their work and are sympathetic towards the students' needs and difficulties.
My English is not very good. Will you have a class at my level, and can I change class if necessary? |
Where can I live?
Most students live in London home stay accommodation chosen by our friendly staff.
The average journey time from home to school is 15-30 minutes on foot but excellent bus services are also available.
Longer stay students are eligible for a student Travelcard, which gives reduced fares on buses and trams. See accommodation.
Let our staff look after all aspects of your stay and make your time in England enjoyable and rewarding.
Come to Sels College London to improve your English, meet other students from around the world and have a great time!
