Part-Time English Courses in EnglandWe teach English language in small groups of 5 to 9 (average 6 students in a class). Students can also do one-to-one lessons, or combine group and one-to-one lessons. A. Part-Time English Courses available:

Families prefer full-time students. Students check in about 7 pm on the Sunday before the course start date.
Hotel: About £70 per night, or about £120 or £180 if private toilet/bath is required. Accommodation in a single: room with its own toilet / shower and cooking facility in Kings Cross about £190 a week (book in advance 2-3 months). University of London Hall of Residence: in Russell Square, about 15 minutes on foot, £32 a night for single room, about £36 with breakfast and dinner. Only available from June to September. Accommodation service charge: £15 a week, minimum £30 for 1 or 2 weeks. Homestay cancellation notice is one week or one week's rent in lieu of notice. H. Summer English Courses at Sels College, London:In July and August students can study for 2, 4, 6, 8 weeks or longer starting on 30 June, 14 or 28 July, 11 or 26 August. Advance booking advisable. University of London hall accommodation available from June to September. I. Bank Holidays:The College is closed on Bank Holidays 21 and 24 March, 5 and 26 May and 25 August. The College closes on 19 December 2008 for Christmas and re-opens on Monday 12 January 2009. Please note that the total weekly fees for group courses remain the same even when there is a Bank Holiday. No fees charged for the three weeks' holiday at Christmas when the College is closed. J. K. Complaint / Problem:Please speak to Reception in the first week if you have any problems or difficulties with your course or accommodation or some other matter. Any complaint or claim must be made within 1 month from the date of the occurrence. L. Cancellation Fee:The cancellation fee in all cases is the tuition fees of the first week (+ 1 week’s accommodation fee if it is arranged by the College), provided there is no excessive correspondence after the Letter of Acceptance has been sent and there is an acceptable reason for cancellation. A course can be postponed on medical or other urgent grounds without having to pay a cancellation fee as long as reasonably advance notice is given. Any claim against the College must be made within one month of the event giving rise to the claim. A request for change of course or to shorten the length of the course must be made at least 7 working days before the start date; in general, no change is possible after the course has started. Visas:Prospective students need to apply for a student visa if they are coming for more than six months, and a student visitor visa if they wish to study for 6 months or less.
